I stayed two nights in this hotel. It was a nice stay! Enjoyed a lot the swimming pool. Many of the guests are from China so, the breakfast was not so nice for me (more Chinese options and a few western choices). The hotel is just across the East Station and the metro entrance, so in excellent location.

The Jiangou Hotel was booked by our business partner in Guangzhou and was a great recommendation for good quality without the high price tag of the more well known brands. The check-in was easy and friendly, room spacious, well laid out, with plenty of power-points, fast no-password free wi-fi and a comfortable bed. I called for an iron to smooth the shirt for a business day and it arrived within 5 min. Breakfast was included in our package and was a great selection of freshly prepared western or Chinese style foods. The location is right next to the East Railway station which is the link to Hong Kong which made our departure fast and easy.

Will stay again.

We took the train from Kowloon to the Guangzhou East Railway Station. The hotel is located about two blocks away - very convenient. It's also located near the terminus of Metro Line 1 - making it very convenient to travel to places and attractions in Guangzhou by subway. Note that the metro can get very crowded most of the time since this is a very popular and economic way of getting around, even though taxis are very reasonable. We stayed two nights taking advantage of a weekend special which included buffet breakfasts. We were given a room on the 22nd floor which had an aerial view of the train station and the cityline. Try to get a room at least one floor lower, as the elevator service to the 22nd and higher floors seemed to be slower than the ones to the lower 21 floors. The room was clean and everything was functioning ok. We found the bed to be nice and firm, much to my wife's liking b/c she has a bit of a bad back. There are lots of shops within walking distance (across the street) from the hotel, including a Unicloq (Japanese clothing retail chain). We would come back to this hotel.
Room Tip: Get a room lower than 22nd floor to avoid slower elevator service.

The hotel is located at a very convenient location; Shopping mall, restaurants, and metro stations were all a walking distance. However, staff service should be improved

First of all, the location is good, next to the GZ East station, and easy to get taxi. There are shops, restaurant nearby.
However, don't expect too much. The room is tidy and functional, but don't expect much more than that. I tried the massage there and it is quite good with reasonable price.
It is suitable for business trip or wants to have short trip like 2 or 3 days in GZ.
I am satisfied with it for such price standard.

This is supposed to be a China 5 star rated hotel, can't compared with international standard but is good enough. As per other reviews, this is a convenient location, a few minutes walk to metro and bus terminal, and is not that far from airport, cost about RMB 100 to RMB 130 single trip. If you want to save some money, you can use the metro to airport.

The best in the hotel is the huge breakfast varieties that can fit almost any taste.
Rooms are OK as well as the bathroom,
Back side rooms face construction area, but no noise entered into the room.
